不生病之真法之十七:营养与健康之九“不食人间烟火者为神仙”

“仙”乃山人也,为长生不老之表征。一谈到长生不老,或许有很多人都认为现代人较长寿,因为现代医学进步,所以使现代人的平均年龄提高,的确如此,其因素有二。

(一)由于医学的进步,使现代婴儿的夭折率降低

婴儿的夭折率低则可大幅提高平均年龄,譬如古代家庭中,有一个活了一百岁,假如有婴儿一出生就死亡。则平均年龄就成为五十岁。佛门中强调:“救人一命,胜造七级浮屠。”抢救刚出生的婴儿、幼儿不使之夭折,这基于人道而言,确实功德无量,可是这种因抢救而换回的小生命,大多数都成为家庭的一大负担,对国家、社会而言,无形中也成为一种累赘,因此孙中山先生曾经强调:“强国必先强种,强种必先强身。”身为父母者就是子女的种,譬如中国内地提倡的“优生优育”,其基础在于强身、强种,有了健康的身体才有健康的下一代,如今现代人的体质一代不如一代,怎能谈得上强种,不能强种又如何强国呢?

(二)由于医学的进步,使病患死亡的时间延长

通常平均年龄乃以死亡之日计算,而不是从病倒在床上的年龄来计算。现代病不仅急速蔓延而且患病年龄也逐年降低,1991年台湾有位小学生就已得了中风,终生须与轮椅为伍,甚至长年躺在病床上,不仅失去自由,而且又须饱受病魔的折腾,在这种情况下,这位小朋友纵然能活到七八十岁;请问,这种长寿有什么意义,有什么好高兴的呢?

台湾光复前的平均寿命较低,这还有另外一个原因,就是战乱时伤亡人数较多之故。基于种种因素,导致现代人的平均年龄较高,这或许是好现象,但却不值得我们感到高兴;古人常说:“不求好生,但求好死。”古代人寿命一到,眼睛一闭就走了,而现代人于死前必须饱受病魔的百般折腾,这种痛苦只有身历其境者才了解,欲求好死,则必须使身体健康,欲求身体健康,必须平时多注重保健,不要认为现代医学进步或平均年龄的提高忽视自己的健康,否则到时必将后悔莫及。

现在日本民族活到百岁以上的人很多,那么人类的寿命到底多长呢?根据圣经的记载:造方舟的诺亚活了950岁,中国古时候的彭祖也活到820岁,根据考据,确有彭祖其人,而且当时孔子对他十分尊敬。以现代人难得活上百岁的情形下,或许将认为这种记载只是天方夜谭而已。根据科学家的研究报告,认为人类的寿命可达140岁,有的科学家认为应该达250岁以上,假如人类可活到250岁以上的话,那么孔子说的:“人生70才开始”。这句话应该有其道理吧!

曾经有世界最健康的民族之称的爱斯基摩人,在种种科学资料证明,爱斯基摩人在冰点以下的恶劣环境限制下,人体机能必将极易失调,可是却属于全世界体格最好的民族之一,骨骼、牙齿也都很好。当时有位著名的探险家史德芬森在北极居住了数年,终于得知爱斯基摩人良好的健康,主要是来自于生食;该民族一生吃不到蔬菜,照理说应该导致营养失衡,可是由于他们都吃生鱼和生熊肉,所以还能摄取到完整的营养。史德芬森特地带了一群年轻人到北极做了种种膳食试验,当人体摄取天然、生的肉类时,尿液中则不含有未消化蛋白腐败酸,体力、精力充沛,较不畏寒;而后,给这群年轻人吃了煮熟的肉类后,反而引起消化不良,体力、精力也愈来愈差,而且较怕冷。还有另一位北极探险家米伦也在种种的亲身体验中证实了史德芬森的膳食价值,所以爱斯基摩人在恶劣的生活条件下,仍然很健康,寿命亦近达100岁;当文明输入后,爱斯基摩人渐渐改为熟食。如今平均年龄仅剩27岁而已,这难道不是“火”所惹的祸吗?爱斯基摩人的饮食方法改变后,其寿命缩短了三倍之多。现代中国人大多以熟食为主,假如又能回归自然以生食为主时,其平均年龄由现在的70岁能再增长三倍时,或许活到200岁该不成问题吧!“不食人间烟火者为神仙”,这是我国道家的养生哲理,不食人间烟火系指生食之意,古代道家极力探讨人生哲理中,早已得知人类生命的奥秘,因而倡导“生食”,生食才能使人体获得完整的营养,人体才能无病,才能快乐似神仙。可是人类为了馋嘴,宁可吃得痛快而忽视健康,为求美味而拿文明、卫生、营养来当挡箭牌,终于使人类逐渐远离自然、新鲜、完整,而渐渐失去健康以致无法自拔,演变至今,人类的寿命一世纪不如一世纪,体质也一代不如一代了。

根据传闻,人类祖先可达千岁以上的高龄,自从我国燧人氏发明钻木取火,以及西方的诺亚发现火烤过的食物特别香脆美味后,人类才逐渐变为熟食,人类的寿命也因此而逐渐缩短。至今,现代人必须饱受病魔的摧残下,勉强的活到70岁已感到心满意足了。人生70才是一生中最辉煌的开始,不论学问、智慧、经验和财力都较充实,正是为国家民族贡献的大好年华,可是现代刚达到这种成熟的年龄时,却必须回到另一个世界去了,这怎不令人深感遗憾呢?

俗语说:“生死一线间”。此话系指生与死本是一线之隔而已,这一线之隔也涵盖了观念上的转变。譬如人体细胞于新陈代谢过程中不可或缺的水,亦有活水与死水之区分,生水即指活水,活水中含有种种的矿物质和微量元素,故可促进人体健康和生命的延续。通常国人到欧美或日本旅游往往都找不到开水,因为外国人不喝开水,所以也不懂什么是开水,他们只喝生水。中国人所谓的开水也就是死水,因为水一经沸腾后其中的有益人体的活性微量元素全遭破坏,所以称为死水,因此把开水放凉后用来浇花、养鱼,而花和鱼必难活命。现代人从婴儿出生后一直都饮用死水,所有的食物都经煮熟,使水和食物中的营养所剩无几,如此之下,人类的生命怎不缩减呢?而且经常食用火煮过的食物,必将导致人体的火气旺盛,使五脏机能难以调和,而极易生病。

台湾有句俗语:“长生果、长生果,每天十粒长生果,懂得吃可长生不老,不懂得吃则成阿不倒。”长生果系指花生,懂得吃即指生食,台语的“阿不倒”系指不倒翁之意,乃形容体型肥胖的人。

生食才是人类健康、长寿、无病的最佳饮食方法。日本民族可称为现代最健康的民族,因为日本人喜食生鱼、生菜沙拉和生水。我国蒙族和黑龙江流域的某些村落,至今仍保留生食的习惯,所以身体十分健壮,而且很少生病。国人世代相传早已习惯熟食,若想一时改变,诚属不易,刚才我曾提起,一线之隔也涵盖观念的改变,观念无法改变时纵然改变生食,人体也无法健康,甚至由于心理的恐慌而引发重病,因为心理因素影响人体健康甚巨。现代人由于受到现代医学的影响,认为生的鱼、肉、蔬果或水中有很多细菌,而今又有农药的残留,不经煮熟则不卫生。通常所谓的不卫生,则含有不洁之意,其实卫生两字的主要涵义是保卫生命,人类进食不仅在求果腹,最主要是摄取食物中的营养以求生命的延续,但所有食物一经煮熟后,其营养已破坏,这如何谈得上卫生呢?农药中有氯和种种化学酸毒,自来水的消毒剂也是氯,这种氯一经加热后将变成三氯甲烷,是一种致癌物质,反而比不煮更糟糕,所以现代人的癌症愈来愈多。这种熟食可说是浪费时间、人力、瓦斯,而且又破坏自然的营养,还将增加人类的疾病,这或许反而不文明,不卫生吧!

另外关于细菌问题。细菌是单细胞,应属于地球上最早的主人,动物是由多细胞组成,根据种种的迹象和推断,人类是由人猿演变而来,而人猿和其他动物在数百万年或数亿万年以前有可能是由细菌演变而成。我们虽不能确认细菌是人类的祖先,但是我们却不难了解细菌乃与宇宙共存,早在人类尚未发明显微镜之前,人类根本不知有什么细菌存在,但于数千年前的佛经上早已记载:“一杯水中即有千千万万的众生”。这千千万万的众生即指细菌,而现代医学专家亦不能否认细菌与人体细胞共存,而且细菌尚可增强人体的免疫力,那么细菌是可爱或可怕呢?其实,整个地球上到处都有细菌,假如细菌是人类最可怕的敌人时,人类岂能延续到现在呢?

俗语说:“道,不经魔考不能成道。”人的免疫力、自然治愈力若不经种种细菌一次次的考验下绝不可能增强。凡事之是与非,皆仅一念之差,若想实事求是,惟有以智慧和实践中去证实,否则光说不练皆无济于事。

不生病之真法之十六:营养与健康之八“稻米的营养”


麻雀乃属单食动物,仅食稻米而已,却仍活得十分健康快乐。每天一大清早就叽叽喳喳的叫个不停。麻雀只摄取稻米的单一食物中,就能活得非常健康,这表示稻米中含有完整的营养,因此美国有位营养学家曾经特地对稻米做深入的研究。经其证实,新鲜的稻米确实具有非常完整的营养;可是农夫为了易于贮存,必须晒干,经晒干后的稻米随着水分的流失而失去10%的营养,人类觉得外壳较硬,所以加以去壳而成为糙米,其营养又流失10%,现代人注重精致食物,因此又将糙米的表皮去除掉,成为所谓的胚芽米,这时营养又流失10%,可是胚芽米仍不够精致,又把胚芽去除,营养又再流失10%,胚芽去除后仍将残留一些米皮,看起来还不够美,须再加工成为白米,而使营养非常完整的稻米仅剩50%的营养而已,煮熟后又将流失5%的营养,最后我们只能吃到45%的营养,已缺少55%的营养,人体怎么不生病呢?

有一次,台湾有人到了日本,特地去拜访前章所提起的那位高僧,请教有关养生之道,这高僧见来人十分虔诚,因此很高兴地把他一生的心得告诉了他,说:“这本来就属于你们中国人的宝贵遗产,今天您来了,我就把它物归原主。”这位高僧一边说着一边拿起了笔在白纸上写了“粕、糠、糙、药”等四个中国文字,而且又细述其中的涵义。“粕”乃糟粕,系指废弃物之意,现代人喜食白米,白米则为粕,人类长年食粕必将不健康;欲求健康则须“糠”,古时患脚水肿的人都知道吃米糠,“粕”加上“糠”即为“糙”,食用糙米才能生肌造血,可是糙米已流失20%的营养,久食仍然会生病,人体有病必然不快乐。只有吃“草”才会快乐,所以繁体字的“藥”字乃“乐字上需草”,草系指植物类,如青草、青菜等。可是后人误解先圣先贤的美意,认为人体有病就必须吃药,尤其现代忽视自然,迷信科学,以致把西药当成救命仙丹,其实大部分的西药系属强酸、毒素,这些西药被猫、狗闻之将犹如敬鬼神而远之,生长在乡下的人或许看过,猫、狗、蛇、猴等许多动物有病时都知道吃草,这就是地球万物与生俱来的求生本能,万物皆有这种本能,惟有人类已迷失。

现代人不断地追求享受与口欲,饮食十分强调色、香、味,不仅稻米必须多次加工外,几乎所有食物都是如此,所有自然界的食物经过多次加工后,其营养几乎全被破坏,故所谓的精致食品也就是垃圾食物,尤其罐头食物为了美感,必须添加人工色素,为了美味又须添加人工调味料,为了贮存则须添加防腐剂,使自然的营养不仅破坏无遗,而且又增添了许多化学毒素,许多的加工食品在电视广告都说“美味又营养”,美味方面的确不容否定,但营养方面则有待各位去探讨。

不生病之真法之十五:营养与健康之七“新营养学”

引导我埋头钻研自然医学的老师王晖评博士主张“自然、新鲜、完整的新营养观”。譬如张小姐邻居的小孩喜食生菜,生菜来自于自然,刚从土里拔出来,所以绝对新鲜。不经加工、煮熟,所以营养不流失,而且根、茎、叶完全吃下谓之完整。这种吃法完全吻合自然、新鲜、完整,所以这个小孩必然健康无病。

十年前,在日本东京曾经举行了一次世界性营养问题发表会,参加人士都是来自世界各地的营养学家、博士,每位专家、博士对人类营养都有极高的造诣。在发表会中所有的专家、博士们无不兴高采烈的把自己的重大发现或伟大的成果提出给大家分享。每位专家、博士都认为自己的伟大发现或发明能给人类带来健康与幸福,甚至可青春永驻、长生不老。整整一星期的发表会中高潮迭起,毫无冷场,使每位参加者都乐而忘返,认为不虚此行。

当发表会即将接近尾声时,讲台上突然出现了一位日本高僧,当大家十分讶异中,这位高僧讲话了:“这星期以来,听了各位专家、博士们对于营养方面的伟大发现和发明,其苦心与贡献非常令人敬佩。现在有个问题想请教各位:‘牛吃草,草的营养价值如何?’这时场内一片寂静,因为所有专家、博士都认为他们所研究发明的都属于尖端科技高水准的营养学,而这位高僧却以极平常又粗贱的草来当话题,这简直是侮辱人格,因此都不愿作答。过了一会儿,这位老僧又开口了:“牛吃草,牛所挤出来的牛奶喂养全世界的小孩,请问牛奶的营养如何?有那位博士先生认为牛奶不营养?那么牛仅吃草,请问草的营养又如何呢?”

这时,这些自认为高人一等的专家、博士们心中已略有感触了,觉得这位高僧的确有两把刷子。那么,再请问:“牛什么时候吃草?”生长在乡下的小孩也许都知道,牛通常都在太阳出来后才吃草。为什么呢?因为草于夜间摄取露水和土壤中的矿物质、水分后,必须经过阳光照射产生光合作用,才能使矿物质、水分机转成为最好的营养素,这时牛吃了这些草才有益身体。牛能选择这种最佳时间吃草,这也就是地球万物与生俱来的自然求生本能。

或许各位都知道,牛奶的蛋白质含量很高,假如只吃蛋白质才能补充蛋白质的话,那么牛只吃草而已,而牛奶的蛋白质是从何而来呢?其实,地球万物都有其自然的本能,人类也是一样。譬如古时候的妇女有的一辈子吃不到一块肉,可是身体都很健康,膝下子女成群,向来不缺奶水。因为母奶的蛋白质含量很高,所以现代营养学家也一致公认母奶的营养价值。可是古代妇女对蛋白质的摄取量少得可怜,而母奶中怎能含有大量的蛋白质呢?而现代妇女营养充足,却反而不孕或没奶水?有许多问题实令人遐想。

我刚刚提过,地球万物都有其自然本能,也就是自然法则。不论人类或所有哺乳动物在幼儿成长的初阶段时,必须摄取大量的蛋白质,这时母体的自然本能就会把人体所摄取的营养转变成含有大量的蛋白质的奶水,当这阶段过后,这些新生幼儿不需要这大量的蛋白质时,母体的奶水就会自动消失,甚至于有的动物,时间一到就会强制“断奶”,一点也不妥协,这也就是自然法则,而牛奶中的蛋白质完全是从草机转而来,也可以说是牛体内的一种自然转换,这种自然转换的过程,我想还是留给各位当上科学家后再继续研究吧!或者各位有透视和具有观察物质分子变化的特异功能时,就可一目了然。

刚刚我们提到,草必须经过光合作用后,牛才会吃它,因为草或其他植物所摄取的养分必须经过阳光照射产生光合作用后,这些养分才有益于植物本身,也才能被植物于生成过程中所利用,如此有益于植物本身也才有益于草食动物。植物经过光合作用后,其营养价值甚高,不仅涵盖了所有营养学家所发现的蛋白质、维生素、脂肪、糖类和矿物质等五大营养,其中还有许多未被发现的营养素,所以说,自然界的奥秘实在非人类的有限智慧所能得知,绝不能因小小的发现而沾沾自喜,更不可以为人定胜天,“天”乃指大自然而言,人类想胜过大自然,可能吗?我们现在所居住的地球,只是太阳星系的一小部分而已,而太阳星系以外仍是无边无际,光是太阳星系都无法征服,还妄想胜天;其实人只能顺乎自然,欲求顺乎自然则须了解自然、探讨自然,刚才已提过,自然就是所谓的天。俗语说:“顺天者昌,逆天者亡。”其道理在此,譬如牛吃草,完全顺乎自然,合乎自然,不经煮熟、加工、贮藏、冷冻,而且根、茎、叶都完完整整的吃进肚子里,也完全吻合自然、新鲜、完整的新营养观,所以牛仅吃草,却长得很强壮又很健康,从来不刷牙却不见蛀牙。现在各位对植物类的营养是否已有了新认识呢?为什么牛不刷牙却不蛀牙?这问题容后再说明。

6 main causes of heart disease


Heart ailments, infectious diseases and cancer remain the world's top three killers, according to the UN health agency.

The effects of a vegetarian diet occur in addition to the benefits of reducing the sodium content of the diet. When patients with high blood pressure begin a vegetarian diet, many are able to eliminate the need for medication.

Controlling Diabetes


The latest studies on diabetes show that a vegetarian diet high in complex carbohydrates and fiber (which are found only in plant foods) and low in fat is the best dietary prescription for controlling diabetes. A diet based on vegetables, legumes, fruits, and whole grains, which is also low in fat and sugar, can lower blood sugar levels and often reduce or even eliminate the need for medication. Since individuals with diabetes are at high risk for heart disease, avoiding fat and cholesterol is important, and a vegetarian diet is the best way to do that.

Cancer Prevention


A vegetarian diet helps prevent cancer. Studies of vegetarians show that death rates from cancer are only about one-half to three-quarters of the general population’s death rates.

Breast cancer rates are dramatically lower in countries where diets are typically plant-based. When people from those countries adopt a Western, meat-based diet, their rates of breast cancer soar. Vegetarians also have significantly lower rates of colon cancer than meat-eaters. Colon cancer is more closely associated with meat consumption than any other dietary factor.

Why do vegetarian diets help protect against cancer? First, they are lower in fat and higher in fiber than meat-based diets. But other factors are important, too. Plants contain other cancer-fighting substances called phytochemicals. For example, vegetarians usually consume more of the plant pigments beta-carotene and lycopene. This might help to explain why they have less lung and prostate cancer. Also, some studies have suggested that diets that avoid dairy products may reduce the risk of prostate and ovarian cancer.

Some of the anti-cancer aspects of a vegetarian diet cannot yet be explained. For example, researchers are not quite sure why vegetarians have more of certain white blood cells, called “natural killer cells,” which are able to seek out and destroy cancer cells.

The calcium Connection


Vegetarians are less likely to form either kidney stones or gallstones. In addition, vegetarians may also be at lower risk for osteoporosis because they eat little or no animal protein. A high intake of animal protein encourages the loss of calcium from the bones. Replacing animal products with plant foods reduces the amount of calcium lost. This may help to explain why people who live in countries where the diet is typically plant-based have little osteoporosis, even when calcium intake is lower than that in dairy-consuming countries.

Planning Vegetarian Diets


It’s easy to plan vegetarian diets that meet all your nutrient needs. Grains, beans, and vegetables are rich in protein and iron. Green leafy vegetables, beans, lentils, tofu, corn tortillas, and nuts are excellent sources of calcium, as are enriched soymilk and fortified juices.

Vitamin D is normally made in the body when sun shines on the skin. People who are dark-skinned or live at northern latitudes have some difficulty producing vitamin D year-round. Vitamin D can easily be obtained from fortified foods. Some sources are commercial breakfast cereals, soymilk, other supplemental products, and multivitamins.

Regular intake of vitamin B12 is important. Good sources include all common multiple vitamins (including vegetarian vitamins), fortified cereals, some brands of nutritional yeast, and fortified soymilk. It is especially important for pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers to get enough vitamin B12. When reading food labels, look for the word cyanocobalamin in the ingredient list. This is the form of vitamin B12 that is best absorbed.

借问素食何处有:(2)马赛乌搭马(Masai Utama)的善缘素食店

初到柔佛工作,因人生地不熟,找不到素食店,而挨了几天的面包、水果、泡面等。最后在面包店老板娘的指示下,才认识了这一间素食店。

这间名为“善缘“的素食店坐落于马赛(Masai)镇大街的后面。如果您通过巴西古当(Pasir Gudang)大道往巴西古当镇的方向行驶,经过两座通往斯里安南(Seri Alam)的天桥 (不要转左,直走)以及无盖巴士车站,您就会看到左手边有几排的店屋。转入左手边,直走,直到看见三岔路口的家私店,转左,到另一个路口再转左。注意看左手边的店屋,您就会找到这间素食店。从这条路向前行驶将通往马赛大街。


这间素食店主要售卖经济饭菜,大部分的菜肴都可口。其中一道我爱吃的菜肴是“天贝tempeh”,它是一道既美味又营养的食物。其他美味可口的菜肴包括酸甜“豆卜”、酿豆腐、辛辣的豆类和瓜类以及各式的蔬菜等。

如果您不想吃杂饭,那我介绍您点沙煲饭。您很难在别的素食店找到这道食物吧!所以您很幸运能够在此享用到既美味,别处又难找到的食物。除此之外,您还能在这里吃到素肉骨茶(还是柔佛再也的素食小栈售卖的素古茶比较美味)、沙煲伊面、印度炒面、东炎面、咖喱面、云吞面、福建面、臭豆炒饭等。如何?流口水了吧?

善缘素食店的营业时间从早上七点至下午四点,星期一至星期六。星期日没有营业,除非是初一十五。
