6 main causes of heart disease

Heart ailments, infectious diseases and cancer remain the world's top three killers, according to the UN health agency.

Heart attacks and related problems are the top killer, especially among women, claiming 29 percent of people who die each year, the World Health Organization said in a report on the global burden of disease in year 2004.

Women die more often from heart disease than men. The rate for females is 31.5 percent, and for males 26.8 percent, the report said. The percentage for women was higher because there were more women living at older ages than men. But in general, men are more affected by heart diseases. This could be due to men are more often overweight or obese, get insufficient physical activity and eat more fat and salt.

The following are the six main causes of heart disease for you to understand, so that you can be well prepared and prevent heart disease.

1. Smoking
Most men are unable to quit this bad habit. Smokers are suffering higher risk of heart disease by 3 to 6 times, this is because the toxins in cigarettes will damage blood vessels and interfere with the heart to get sufficient oxygen.

2. High blood pressure
This is one of the main cause of heart disease. Uncontrolled high blood pressure forces the heart to work overload and subsequently increases higher risk of contracting heart disease.

3. Excessive intake of high fat and high salt foods
Eating a lot of high fat and high salt foods will increase the risk of heart disease. This is because the blood cholesterol will increase, thereby increasing the risk of contracting heart disease.

4. Lack of exercise
Lack of exercise increases the risk of contracting heart disease. Exercise helps to strengthen the heart function and reduce cholesterol level, which will help you stay away from heart disease.

5. Mental stress
Uncontrolled and persistent mental stress can cause you to be attacked by heart disease. Therefore, you should always get involved in some pastime or sports to release mental stress, which will help to cut down the risk of contracting heart disease.

6. Diabetes
Diabetes patients face higher risk of contracting heart disease. Uncontrolled diabetes will accelerate the narrowing of blood vessels, which lead to coronary heart disease.

In order to prevent and stay away from heart disease, you should develop good eating habit and lifestyle, the best thing is to adopt vegetarian diets to reduce cholesterol level and to smoothen blood circulation, so that the heart can be functioning well.

Burnt Coconut Water Can Cure Diseases

I have been living in Malaysia for so many years and only until now I realised that the coconut can be burnt on wood and to be drunk when it is still hot. Last week a friend of mine invited me to have a trial.

The stall selling burnt coconut is located at a wooden hut beside old Masai Road, between Plentong and Bandar Seri Alam, Johor.
This is the stall selling burnt coconut water. The business here is quite good with customers come in and out.
The green coconuts were burned on steel drum with burning wood underneath
This was the burnt coconut I enjoyed for the first time in my life.
How is it? Look good and taste good? It still tastes like coconut, but with burning smell. Not bad, I really enjoyed it and I sweated like being steamed in the sauna.
The Malay owner has written on the wooden wall that this burnt coconut can cure quite a number of diseases, for example diabetes, high blood pressure, fewer and headache. I asked the woman owner whether it can really cure diabetes and high blood pressure. She replied that in order to cure the diseases, one has to drink everyday and only drink the coconut water without taking the coconut "meat". Beside curing the said diseases, the burnt coconut water can also cleanse our blood to remove toxin from our blood vessel.

I was made known that these burnt coconuts can also be found in Selangor and East Coast. Want to have a trial? You could most probably love it! My friend had come for a few times as his toothache was reducing after having burnt coconut water. It is not that expensive, it only costs RM3.00, which is only 50 sen extra over fresh coconut.

MEAT - The Chief Assailant Of Human's Body

There are nitrogen, carcass poisoning, cholesterol, uric acid, urine elements, the infection of poisonous diseases, chemical poisonings, DDT poisoning, antibiotics poisoning, the decaying and death of cells which are in infected by bacteria.....in the meat compound.

Eating meat will lead to the hardening of the blood vessels, the growth of stones in the kidney and gall-bladder, coronary disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, the hardening of the liver, cancer, obese, pancreatitis, the inflammation of joints, haemorrhoids, the diseases of intenstines and stomach, osteoporosis, fatigue, the mad-cow disease (Bovine Disease), the swelling and crookedness of the vein vessels, Diverticulum, Salmonella (food poisoning caused by bateria infection) ulcer in the stomach and intestines, low sugar level, the hardening of the arteries and lots of other diseases....

Meat contains lots of uric acid and urine elements which will burden the function of the kidney. It may lead to kidney sickness such as rheumatism and the inflammation of the joints.

Constipation is caused by taking meat which is lack of fibre and the over absorption of the residual of meat in the long intestine. The digestive system of a man who eats too much meat is unable to digest the food completely. The meat that remains in the intestine decays and produces poisonous elements and therefore, it leads to diseases. The blood is contaminated with these poisonous elements from decaying meat. If a man enjoys eating half-cooked meat, then he has a greater chance to get infected with diseases. Xantin is one of the poisonous elements which is found in meat. It has the power to regenerate itself. The intestine of meat eater consist of bacteria which dislikes oxygen and due to the prolongation of residual meat in the intestine, intestine cancer will be formed.

Meat contains high percentage of cholesterol. Therefore, by taking meat in daily diet, the health of middle age and old people has seriously been affected and this has become their greatest enemy. Cholesterol can be found in the brains of animals, nervous systems, blood, gall, egg-yolk and fat. Cholesterol is difficult to be emulsified and digested completely in our body. After taking for a long time, the blood is thickened with fat and becomes sticky. That is why it will lead to diseases such as the hardening of the arteries, coronary diseases, high blood pressure, haemorrhage, stroke (cerebrovascular accident) and others. Other than that, the accumulation of cholesterol will weaken the cells and disturb the functioning of the body system. Such a man will grow old faster and looks older than his age.

As a conclusion, in order to live in healthy, we should reduce eating meat or better still cut down meat eating totally as meat contains full of poisons, bacteria, cholesterol, etc. Instead we should take more wholegrains, vegetables and fruits for a healthy life.
